Paquet’s Sugar Balance is specially formulated to help complement our daily diet. It contains three main ingredients chromium, fenugreek and gymnema sylvestre.

  • Chromium levels in our body have been observed in scientific studies to be correlated with excessive blood sugar levels, the lower the chromium levels, the higher the blood sugar levels.
  • Fenugreek is used as a food supplement and also have a long history of medicinal use for labor induction, helping digestion and improving metabolism and health. It has been shown to help with elevated sugar levels after food.
  • Gymnemic Sylvestre is a plant native to central and western India, tropical Africa and Australia. Scientific studies show it helps to delay glucose absorption in the blood and also fill the taste receptors on our tongue, preventing sugar from activating them, helping to reduce sugar craving.

Sugar Level

The three active ingredients have been scientifically proven to help maintain healthy carbohydrates levels and provide weight management.

  • Chromium helps to increase the body’s ability to use glucose to meet its energy needs and raises insulin requirements.
  • Fenugreek helps in the inhibition of carbohydrate digestion and absorption
  • Finally, Gymnemic acid molecules (which has a similar shape to glucose) fill the receptor location in the absorptive external layers of the intestine thereby preventing the sugar molecules absorption by the intestine, which results in low carbohydrates level
